ResMed Releases AirTouch N20

On September 1st, medical equipment company ResMed released its first-ever nasal mask made with a memory foam cushion and softest nasal mak ever called the AirTouch N20.

The AirTouch N20 nasal mask features the same patented UltraSoft memory foam cushion as the AirTouch F20 full face mask that ResMed introduced in 2017. Both the full face and the nasal mask are able to adapt to the contours and curves and create a personalized fit for maximum comfort. This comfort and convenience can help increase patient satisfaction, adherence, and benefits from long-term therapy.

The foam cushions also have the added bonus of no cleaning being needed so long as they are replaced on an appropriate schedule.

Additional features include:

Quick-release elbow that allow patients to easily disconnect from tubing without removing their mask
Magnetic clips that guide the headgear to the frame quickly and easily
AirFit N20’s mask frame fits both AirFit N20 silicone and AirTouch N20 memory foam cushions, allowing clinicians to conveniently switch between the two during fittings or send patients home with both to see which cushion type they prefer
A seal designed for therapy pressures up to 30 cm H2O
